JAE | Japan Avionics | JAE Connector The KW1 series connector product is a: connector and cable assembly compatible with CHAdeMO protocol electric vehicle (EV) fast chargers. This connector has been designed with ease of operation and safety in mind as it will be used by the public. The grip is ergonomically designed for easy handling and intuitive single-action operation. The exterior body shell and locking bar are made of metal, and the grip is made of an environmentally resistant resin that resists strong UV rays and moisture conditions, all of which make it very reliable for outdoor use. One side of the housing is designed with a cover in case an emergency release is required due to the connector being accidentally locked in the mated condition. The connector supports CHAdeMO based charging throughout North America, United Stars approved by the Federal Insurance Corporation of the United States, and cUL approved by the Federal Insurance Corporation of Canada.
