Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors HPCE ® Cable Assemblies is a: HPCE ® cable assemblies are a new generation of cable assemblies for demanding applications that require high linear current density and low power consumption. It offers both one-piece (cable to card edge) and two-piece (cable to plug) solutions. Both solutions have a very low package height (7.5 mm) and, like Amphenol ICC's other power solutions, feature a low cost, high reliability stamped power contact technology. HPCE ® cable assemblies feature innovative power contact and housing designs that allow for more compact and smaller packages for demanding AC and DC power distribution applications. HPCE ® cable assemblies feature low package height (for maximum air circulation), greatly increased linear current density, and reduced contact resistance — features that make them ideal for next-generation 1U/2U servers, storage enclosures, telecom equipment, and datacom/networking equipment.
