Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The Metral ® board mounted connector product is a: The Metral ® product family offers a wide range of backplane connector solutions, including right angle and vertical connectors for male and female series. These connectors are designed to meet IEC 61076-4-104 and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. Metral ® male and female connectors have a high terminal density (250 terminals per 100 mm of connector length) with a 2 mm terminal pitch. They are available in 4 and 5 row versions. Metral ® Vertical Female can be mated with Vertical Male for board-to-board applications. Metral ® backplane connectors are Futurebus + compliant and support a wide range of applications in the data, industrial and instrumentation, medical and telecommunications markets.
