Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The Metral ® cable connector product is a: Metral ® millimeter-pitch cable connector that meets board-to-cable interface requirements and is part of the Metral ® product line, which offers the broadest range of backplane connector solutions. These connectors are designed to meet IEC 61076-4-104 and Telcordia GR-1217-CORE standards. Metral ® cable connectors are available in 4 and 5 row versions. They are available in single and multi-module configurations and can be fitted with vertical and right-angle male heads. Shielded Metral ® E1T1 series cable connectors are also available in 64 or 96 terminal configurations and right-angle cable terminations. Can be fitted with a right angle male with press-fit terminations. Custom versions are also available. Metral ® backplane connectors are Futurebus + compliant and support a wide range of applications in the data, industrial and instrumentation, medical and telecommunications markets.
