Amphenol | Amphenol Connector Micro Cool Edge NF1/NGSFF 0.50 mm connector product is a card edge connector Micro designed for enterprise SSD applications Cool Edge NF1/NGSFF The 0.50 mm connector is a new compact card edge connection solution designed specifically for enterprise and data center SSD (solid state drive) servers. This series of connectors supports NF1/NGSFF (Next Generation Miniature). Compared to the M.2 standard, NF1/NGSFF doubles storage capacity and provides support for front-end services within the server system. The vertical and right-angle Micro Cool Edge are equipped with the same interfaces as the orthogonal configuration, enabling higher density applications inside the system. The Micro Cool Edge features a similar 0.50 mm pitch, 67-pin, M-key to the M.2 connector, supports NVMe SSDs, and has transfer speeds up to 16GT/s. The SSD PCB is 0.80mm thick, supports hot swap and front loading, supports NVMe, and has a speed of up to 16GT/s, making it ideal for 1U systems, 1x1, 1x2, and 1x4 configurations of combined mechanical frames.
