Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The Millipacs ® cable connector product is a Millipacs ® hard metric right-angle male module available in a variety of generic versions – Type A, Type B, Type C, Type B19, Type B22, Type AB22, and Type AB25, with a shielded pin header option. Various pin layout configurations are available to support standard size PCI modules. The system is intended for use in applications requiring coplanar board-to-board connections in a standard hard metric environment. When used with a right angle female, the system is suitable for Extender or Test Card designs. In addition to the coplanar design, these right-angle males can be used in applications that require an industrial backplane. The vertical female can be used in place of the vertical male on the backplane and the right angle male on the daughter card. Right-angle male connectors feature cable latches that allow mating with female cable connectors, expanding the range of input-output applications. Right-angle hard metric (HM) connectors are specifically designed for the communications and instrumentation markets and can be used in applications such as plug-in units, embedded computers, CPCI racks, and high-end routers.
