Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The Millipacs ® Plus configurable connector product is a MILLIPACS ® PLUS configurable and expandable connector enabling signal selection and hybrid solutions. Millipacs ® Plus 2mm pitch hard metric connectors offer 3 to 25 Gb/s data rate options with configurable and expandable high and low speed signal, boot, and power modules. Vertical plugs on the backplane mate with right-angle receptacles on the daughter board, and the expandable design makes it easy to populate the board and gives designers flexibility. With a tulip-like contact system and a wiping distance of more than 2 mm, high reliability with multiple contacts is ensured. Hot-swap, EMI shielding, and high-temperature compatibility options are available. Configurable signal, low-speed, and high-speed, with power and boot options. The signal and power contacts are rated up to 1.5 A and 40 A, respectively. Power contacts for power distribution and signal contacts for power control are available. The signal contacts operate at data rates up to 25 Gb/s, are hot-swappable, and provide EMI protection.
