Amphenol's external Mini-SAS cable assembly solutions meet the reliability, compactness, and high-speed serial I/O support of SAS 2.1 for leading-edge and legacy storage applications. The Mini-SAS I/O system provides a high-speed, cost-effective solution to address the bandwidth needs of leading edge and legacy servers and external storage systems. Amphenol cable assemblies meet the multi-channel port requirements of the Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) industry standard. The Mini-SAS solution meets the applicable requirements of the INCITS T10 and SAS 2.1 specifications and meets the mechanical performance requirements defined in the SFF-8086 and SFF-8088 documents. Mini-SAS components are available in a variety of styles. Support for SAS 2.1, ideal for leading-edge and legacy servers and external storage systems, low-profile "snap-pull" latches, and customizable "snap-push" options.
