Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The Pwr TwinBlade ® cable assembly product is a: Pwr TwinBlade ® cable system designed to support applications requiring high power supplies. Pwr TwinBlade ® connectors use a proven contact system in a touch-resistant design, with each contact capable of carrying up to 100 A of current. New inductive contacts can be used to eliminate potential damage under hot-swap conditions. As an "electrical" encoding, the new inductive contact function ensures correct fit. A variety of other features also ensure proper fit, such as an active lockout function, four different numbering options, and a polarization function. This design enables the termination of cables of different diameters and wire sizes (2 X 6mm ², 10mm ², 16mm ² and 25mm ²). The system consists of cable connectors oriented straight or right angle, with the cable outlet mated to the right angle plate connector.
