Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors OCTIS ™-Power Connectors is a: Power version for high power applications. Rugged I/O connectors with high reliability and performance, the versatile OCTIS ™ I/O system uses multiple industry-standard interfaces to transmit high-speed signals and power, features lightning protection, EMI shielding, and easy installation for outdoor, compact, and extreme environments. The transceiver is moved outside the box, saving board space and providing better heat dissipation. Lightning protection, EMI shielding, and a durable, all-weather design make it ideal for harsh environment applications. Blind mating, floating mounting, color and physical coding features make it easy to use and avoid mis-mating. Field or factory termination and certified cable assembly options are available, enabling increased port-to-port density using standard, miniaturized interfaces. This makes it ideal for outdoor applications such as small base stations, macro base stations, smart radios, and RRUs/RRHs. The OCTIS ™ I/O system is suitable for a variety of applications using standard connector interfaces (SFP/SFP +, signal, PoE (Power over Ethernet), power, mixed signal and power, and RJ45).
