Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The OCTIS ™-Signal Connector (PoE) product is a: Signal/PoE-Metral ® HDXS that meets ANSI requirements and CAT 6 performance standards. Metral ® HDXS is designed with dual beam terminals to ensure high reliability, requiring less panel width than conventional RJ45 connectors. This series is ideal for broadband wireless access applications. Rugged I/O connectors with high reliability and performance, the versatile OCTIS ™ I/O system uses multiple industry-standard interfaces to transmit high-speed signals and power, features lightning protection, EMI shielding, and easy installation for outdoor, compact, and extreme environments. The transceiver is moved outside the box, saving board space and providing better heat dissipation. Lightning protection, EMI shielding, and a durable, all-weather design make it ideal for harsh environment applications. Blind mating, floating mounting, color and physical coding features make it easy to use and avoid mis-mating. Field or factory termination and certified cable assembly options are available. The U uses standard miniaturized interfaces, enabling increased port-to-port density. This makes it ideal for outdoor applications such as small base stations, macro base stations, smart radios, and RRUs/RRHs. The OCTIS ™ I/O system is suitable for a variety of applications using standard connector interfaces (SFP/SFP +, signal, PoE (Power over Ethernet), power, mixed signal and power, and RJ45).
