Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The PwrBlade ® cable assembly product is a: PwrBlade ® cable connector designed to mate with a PwrBlade ® right or vertical style board mount plug. By expanding beyond board-to-board applications, designers can now connect power and power electronics components in a wide range of applications. Cable connectivity is combined with Amphenol ICC's proven PwrBlade board-to-board system to provide a universal power distribution connection system. Amphenol ICC's PwrBlade ® connectors are available in squeeze-release versions for applications that require active latching and panel encapsulation configurations in modularly installed large power distribution systems. The PwrBlade ® Power Distribution Connector System has both power and signal pins, allowing both power distribution and power control functions in one connector. The PwrBlade connector was originally developed to implement the Server System Architecture (SSI) standard for Distributed Power Supplies (DPS), Midrange Power Supplies (MPS), and High-End Power Supplies (HPS), and is now available in a wide range of other configurations. These connectors can also be customized to meet unique application needs.
