Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The PwrMAX ® Orthogonal Power Connector is a: 100 AMPS, ORTHOGONAL APPLICATION POWER CONNECTOR, PwrMAX ® Orthogonal Power Connectors provide a compact method for connecting DC power up to 100 A in PCB edge-to-PCB applications. This blind mating connector has a low resistance and is suitable for modern quadrature system architectures. Each pin has a current carrying capacity of 100 A and is crimped to the PCB termination with +/-3.5 mm of blind-fit crowding, and the PCB package size allows for easy PCB routing to support airflow inside and outside the connector, eliminating midplane and backplane airflow impedances
