Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors The RotaConnect ® rotating board-to-board connector product is a: Amphenol ICC expands the RotaConnect ® board-to-board family with the introduction of rotating board-to-board connectors. Positioning posts help make positioning easy. This eliminates hold-down devices, helping customers save space between connectors on the PCB. The RotaConnect ® BtB series is a unique rotating board-to-board SMT connector designed to support vertical, coplanar, and angular connections. The androgynous "self-mating" design allows mating at any angle between + 90 ° and -60 °, enabling the connector to be mounted anywhere on the PCB. This design allows the use of a single part number that can contain both male and female contacts. High temperature resistant plastic material allows reflow soldering. Tape and reel packaging can be used for vacuum suction applications. With the introduction of this new product, Amphenol ICC's RotaConnect ® BtB series offers 2- and 4-position connectors with solder leg and alignment post options for enhanced grip.
