Amphenol | Amphenol Connectors SlimSAS ™ Low Profile Connectors-The U10 series is a proven, high-speed, ultra-thin, next-generation SAS 4.0/PCIe ® 4.0 interface designed to provide higher speed and smaller solutions on network devices and servers. Amphenol has developed SlimSAS ™ low profile connectors that effectively support UPI1.0, 11.2GT/s, 24Gb/s SAS signaling, or 16GT/s PCIe ® signaling. The Low Profile (LP) SlimSAS ™ solution saves space for end devices with a contact pitch of 0.60 mm and a higher density than mainstream connectors on the market today. LP SlimSAS ™ is also known as SlimSAS ™ LP. This series of sockets features a rugged metal housing with a latching plug for secure mounting on a PCB. Mating height (connector + cable plug): 1.45 mm, designed for unshielded, internal or external I/O connectors, compliant with Intel UPI 1.0, T10/Serial Attached SCSI (SAS 4.0) and PCIe ® 4.0 standard EMI shielding, supports multiple packaging options.
