Amphenol | Amphenol Connector SAS/PCIe 4.0 (U.2 and U.3) connector products are a flexible, high-speed, multi-protocol design that SAS/PCIe ® 4.0 (U.2 and U.3) connectors are available in 16GT/s (PCIe ® lanes) or 24Gb/s (SAS lanes) speed configurations to meet the demanding needs of next-generation servers. The 68-bit SAS/PCIe ® socket and pin connectors support high-speed Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disk drive (HDD) interfaces and Peripheral Component Express (PCIe ®) -based devices. Molded guide posts ensure automatic alignment of device plugs and receptacles during mating. These connectors are made of halogen-free high-temperature thermoplastics and are designed to withstand a wide range of conditions. It is durable and can be plugged and unplugged 500 times. Compliant with the SFF8639 specification, it can support 24Gb/s SSD and HDD transfers or 16GT/s PCle ® interface, and the package design is backward compatible with 12G, 6G, and 3G SAS connectors.
