UTS Series Connectors Eaton's Souriau-Sunbank Full Plastic Waterproof Circular Connectors Designed for Harsh Environments Souriau-Sunbank's UTSX Series Connectors Pictures Souriau-Sunbank's UTSX Series are all plastic waterproof circular connectors designed for harsh environments. Compared to its predecessor, the UTS series, the UTSX series features reinforced bayonet pins and a wider range of layout, size and mechanical keying options. Part of the Souriau TRIM TRIO ® connector series, the UTSX series features a unique contact design that is interchangeable with its multiple series connectors, allowing users to streamline their supply chain and maintain the same wiring process across all ranges. Three sets of machined, stamped and coaxial contacts are used in different connector shapes and have plastic or metal housings, bayonet or push-pull coupling mechanisms. For intermatchable series such as UTS, UTGX and UTO, users can easily switch from one series to another between applications in their operation. The UTSX series connectors are waterproof, lightweight, can withstand 250 cycles of mating, and are made of materials with UV and corrosion resistance. They are IP68/69K rated even under dynamic conditions and are available in multiple contact layouts for design flexibility, including power/signal hybrid and copper/fiber hybrid. The easy-to-grip connector features a one-third bayonet-style coupling that confirms the connection with an audible click and a tactile click. The UTSX series meets IEC and UL standards and is impact resistant to ensure a safe connection for installers and operators. The UTSX series is ideal for outdoor solar and wind management applications, and for use in conditions where humidity or corrosive agents can damage metal components.
