This connector is easy to use, made of high-quality materials and can be connected to industry-standard connectivity equipment, and is designed to provide a reliable product for AV professionals. Io Audio's range of chassis connectors is divided into three different series: E, JL, and JLX. The E-Series features a compact black plastic housing and precision-machined one-piece gold-plated contacts. Available in vertical and horizontal PCB mounting versions, this series is the best choice for design applications. The JL Series features a metal housing that provides excellent EMI resistance. As with the E-Series, the contacts are one-piece, but instead of being gold-plated, they are silver-plated. These connectors feature solder cups that fit in standard D-size cutouts, making them ideal when PCB mounting is not applicable. The JL Series is available in black and nickel housing options. The JLX series includes the same products as the JL series, but with the added advantage of a bi-metal layer enclosure. This enclosure offers unprecedented RF and EMI protection and is suitable for high RF noise environments, such as broadcasting. The JLX series features a nickel housing.
