The Amphenol Amphenol Connector CFP2 product is a: The Amphenol CFP2 series is a 104-bit, 0.6 mm pitch connector that complies with the 100Gb/s form factor package pluggable (CFP) multi-source protocol and is suitable for Ethernet and other applications. Suitable for hundreds of Gb/s systems, including in-mold injection molded assemblies for tip contacts and crimp shield cage assemblies. Rated at 25Gb/s per channel, the CFP2 features a resonant damping design that improves signal integrity and reduces power consumption by up to 60% compared to the CFP. The optional straddle-load radiator can effectively ensure heat dissipation. The CFP2 package is compatible with products from other industry suppliers, including IEEE and ITU-T applications.
