Amphenol Amphenol Connector PwrMAX ® G2 power connector product is an ultra-high density power and signal blind plug connector, PwrMAX ® G2 is an ultra-high density blind plug power and signal connector. The PwrMAX ® G2 series has a current carrying capacity of up to 100A per contact, and has adopted an improved design to reduce the footprint depth while improving blind insertion aggregation. The plate end depth is reduced from 32.4 mm to 27.4 mm, saving 18% overall space. The guide pins at both ends of the plug have been raised to make room for additional low power contacts or 6 signal contacts at each end for more power in less space. The brand new guide pin design also allows for an additional 0.50 mm blind fit aggregability on the Y axis. These characteristics make the PwrMAX ® an ideal solution for PCB or busbar applications that require high density and high current. This family of connectors is currently available in orthogonal, mezzanine, right-angle and coplanar configurations. Plate end depth is reduced by 18%, blind fit aggregability on Y axis is increased by 0.5 mm, each contact is 100A, optimized guide pins provide more power in smaller space, and GCS ® plating is suitable for low resistance.
