4783 Series-Rewirable IEC Connectors with V-Latch SCHURTER Rewirable IEC Cable Connectors for custom cables with V-Latch SCHURTER 4783 Series Rewirable Wire Connectors is the first of its kind to combine a removable IEC C13 cable connector with a durable V-Latch cable retention system that is effectively designed to prevent the power cord from being accidentally pulled out of the receptacle. Detachable cable connectors are available in black, white and gray for system differentiation (e.g. for data center distribution) and are particularly suitable for low-volume production, making it easy to choose cable length and country-specific plugs, eliminating the need to order large quantities or pay large fees. Factory pre-installed with a cable guard with a diameter of 8.5 mm or 10 mm. Acceptable cable cross sections for threaded terminals are a minimum of 3 x 0.75 mm ²/18 AWG (0.82 mm ²) and a maximum of 3 x 1.5 mm ²/14 AWG (2.08 mm ²). The 4783 has been added to SCHURTER's extensive lineup of reconnectable wire connectors. The product has been approved by safety agencies in Europe, China and North America markets. It has also been certified to the new UL 60320 standard. There are no halogens in the cable guard or any other plastic component. Applications include medical, data, telecommunications or information technology.
