Molex MicroPDB (µ PDB) sealed modules are compact automotive power distribution boxes that provide connection points for power switching and circuit protection for vehicles or subsystems in wiring architectures. Compared to conventional auxiliary boxes, this connector system can be easily and inexpensively connected to the vehicle and reduces the number of cutting leads required. MicroPDB modules can be installed in multiple locations within the vehicle, eliminating hardwiring and the costs and potential errors that come with it. These modules offer reliability and are fully sealed through IP67 NEMA rating. They are USCAR-2 compliant and are available in standard and customizable versions with an operating temperature range of-40 °C to + 110 °C and switching voltage options of 12 V or 24V.
