SAS/PCIe ® 4.0 (U.2 and U.3) connectors Amphenol's SAS/PCIe 4.0 (U.2 and U.3) connectors withstand a variety of conditions Amphenol Serial Connect SCSI (SAS)/Peripheral Components Express (PCIe) 4.0 (U.2 and U.3) connectors have speeds of 16 GT/s (PCIe lanes) or 24 Gb/s (SAS lanes) to meet the needs of next-generation servers. 68-bit SAS/PCIe sockets and headers enable high-speed SAS hard disk drive (HDD) interfaces and Peripheral Component Express (PCIe)-based devices. The mold guidance post allows the plug and socket of the equipment to align themselves during the mating process. These connectors use halogen-free, high-temperature thermoplastics that withstand a variety of conditions. They also have a durability of 500 plug-in life.
