AMPMODU 2 mm Receptacles and Pin Holders TE Connectivity's single-and double-row 2 mm connectors are available for surface mount and through-hole mounting TE Connectivity's (TE) AMPMODU 2 mm connector line includes a wide range of reliable board-to-board receptacles and split header holders. Offering up to 25 positions per row, this connector line is available in single-and double-row configurations, and comes in bulk, tube, and tape-and-roll packaging to accommodate different types of product handling systems. The AMPMODU Series can be mounted to the board via automated surface mount, via reflow/pin dip solder paste (THR/PIP), and conventional via holes. The AMPMODU 2 mm plate-to-plate socket features phosphor bronze contacts and a double cantilever beam and is available in three gold-plated options. The dual-beam design provides a larger contact surface between the plug pins and the socket contacts, resulting in reliable signal transmission. The complete portfolio includes a variety of top and dual entry vertical and horizontal sockets that offer a variety of options for plug and socket combinations for board-to-board stacks. The AMMPODU board-to-board and wire-to-board header connectors have a 2mm (0.079 ") centerline, saving nearly 38% of board space compared to the standard 2.54 mm (0.1") centerline and enabling customers to configure more features on their boards. These connectors are pairable and can be paired with most sockets from major brands on the market, providing customers with a wide range of PCB assembly options.
