KP15B Series microSD ™/Nano SIM Card Connector Hirose's KP15B Series supports microSD and Nano SIM Series cards in one connector for dual operation and optimal functionality Hirose's KP15B Series card connector supports both microSD and Nano SIM operation in one slot. The easy-to-use KP15B series connector has a top slot for microSD cards and a bottom slot for Nano SIM cards. The connector has a card detection function and a mechanism to prevent the card from being inserted in the reverse direction to ensure proper plugging. The top slot is designed to remove the microSD card without removing the battery pack. The eject lever extracts the Nano SIM card without exiting the upper microSD card. The bare terminal design simplifies the inspection of connector contacts by automated optical inspection. This compact card connector is only 17.9 mm long, 11.9 mm wide and 2.0 mm high. The microSD card has 10,000 plug and unplug cycles, while the Nano SIM card has 5,000 plug and unplug cycles. The KP15B series has an operating temperature range of-30 °C to + 85 °C, a rated current of 0.5 A and a rated voltage of 10 V.
