The KYOCERA AVX FloXY® 5656 Series connector is a highly reliable rectangular mezzanine (board-to-board) interconnect for high-density electronic devices. The 40-pin, dual-row design with 0.50 mm pitch provides a stable electrical connection in a compact space. The connector's floating plug construction compensates for assembly tolerances and reduces mechanical stress, improving assembly accuracy and long-term reliability. In addition, its board guide, pick-and-place, and solder-hold features further optimize automated production and mounting processes, ensuring a solid connection. The surface mount (SMT) design supports efficient placement processes for mass manufacturing. The connectors support 17mm and 19mm stacking heights with an on-board height of 7.30mm for high-end applications such as industrial automation equipment, communication base stations, precision instruments and consumer electronics.
