Hirose Electric Co Ltd's FH12 series of FFC/FPC (flat flexible) connectors are designed for surface-mount, right-angle mounting and are suitable for efficient connection of electronic devices. Featuring an 8-pin, 0.50mm pitch, the connectors support both FFC and FPC type applications, and utilize Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) technology to ensure an efficient and easy connection process. The contacts are made of phosphor bronze with gold plating for good conductivity and corrosion resistance, the shells are made of polyamide (PA) and nylon, and the actuators are made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) to ensure that the connectors are equipped with excellent temperature resistance and mechanical strength.The FH12 series has a rated voltage of 50V, a rated current of 0.5A, and an adapted operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The UL94 V-0 compliant materials are available in a wide range of temperatures. The FH12 series meets the UL94 V-0 material flammability rating, providing a higher level of safety. They are available with solder termination and straight cable ends, and have a trigger lock function to ensure a reliable connection. The connectors can be mated up to 20 times, making them suitable for frequent plugging and unplugging applications. Packaging options include tape and reel (TR) to meet different production requirements.
