Hirose Electric Co Ltd manufactures the FH12 series of FFC, FPC (Flat Flexible) connectors for surface mount and right-angle mounting types with a contact bottom connector design. With a pitch of 1.00mm and a pin count of 16, it is suitable for solder termination and is suitable for FFC and FPC flat flexible cables. The connector has a Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) feature that ensures low friction resistance during insertion and removal, and a trigger lock feature that ensures a secure connection. The connectors have a rated voltage of 50V, a rated current of 0.5A, an operating temperature range of -40°C to 85°C, and a UL94 V-0 material flammability rating. The housings are made of polyamide (PA) and nylon, and the actuators are made of polyphenylene sulfide (PPS) to ensure durability and stability. The contact material is phosphor bronze with gold plated surface, which provides good conductivity and corrosion resistance for high reliability applications.
