It is ideal for high-current connection areas such as battery connections for compact handheld devices such as smartphones, wearables, and tablets. This product features high-current compatible power terminals that allow for 10A power distribution. There is also a variant that supports currents of up to 12A by combining the use of power terminals and an improved hold-down mechanism. The compression structure with a locking area prevents damage to the connector during mating, improves customer maneuverability, and also features a high pull-out force to prevent product disengagement. Key features are:0.40 mm pitch, 2 rows, 0.7 mm stack height, 2.2 mm widthPower terminals compatible with 10A power supplies (5.0A/pin x 4 pins).12A variants are available with improved compression for additional power. Two-point construction of power and signal terminals designed to resist twisting stresses. Armored, durable compression construction with locking zones enhances retention and adds protection to mating surfaces to prevent damage to plastic insulators. Improved customer maneuverability with a clear click during mating. The contact structure ensures high abrasion resistance and high conductive reliability. Lead-free. (Nickel blocking layer on the contacts.) Main applications are: cell phones, smartphones, wearables, tablets, laptops and other small portable devices.
