JAE | JAE Connectors | Japan Avionics AX03 Series 0.65mm Pitch Horizontal Floating Board-to-Board Connectors are a: Low-profile and space-saving solution with horizontal connections. At the same time, with the floating structure of AX01 series, the connector has a floating structure of 0.5 mm in X and Y directions, which can absorb the position offset/misalignment during installation and assembly. With the addition of a matching guide rail, the connector becomes a better choice for robotic assembly. Typically, multiple board-to-board connectors are used on a single board, and the use of traditional rigid board-to-board connectors results in mating alignment difficulties. The floating structure of the AX03 series connectors will absorb positional deviations during installation and allow multiple board-to-board connectors to be used simultaneously. [Automated production lines using robots and automated machines are becoming more popular in order to improve productivity, quality, and reduce manpower. Floating board-to-board connectors are increasingly being used to support robotic assembly while ensuring vibration resistance and contact reliability. Circuit board layouts are becoming more complex, and the need for connectors that allow the boards to connect horizontally is increasing. The use of horizontal plate connections is desirable, especially where the overall height of the connection, including the thickness of the board itself, needs to be maintained. Its main features are: 0.635 mm spacing, Horizontal connection (not compatible between AX03 series and AX01 series), floating tolerance: 0.5 mm in both X and Y directions, length of mating guide: 0.6 mm in both X and Y directions, low insertion and removal force through roller surface contact structure, supporting automatic installation, allowing the use of multiple connectors on one board, and visual inspection of solder joints; Main applications are: FA equipment, semiconductor manufacturing equipment, office machines, communications equipment, measuring equipment, broadcasting equipment, entertainment equipment and other applications.
